The Lincoln Aviator Coming Soon to Mississauga, ON
Thanks to Lincoln, luxury is reaching new heights in the all-new Lincoln Aviator. This mid-sized SUV is spacious, packed with the latest in technology, and will make any commute feel comfortable and elegant. Arriving in early 2019 to Whiteoak Lincoln in Mississauga, Ontario, your captain is calling you.
What to Expect
Landing in four distinct trim levels–the Aviator, Aviator Reserve, Aviator Grand Touring, and Aviator Black Label–the new Aviator packs the spectacular razor-head-like grille which Lincoln’s full lineup has been implementing. Aviator’s front Lincoln emblem lights up with the headlights, creating a dramatic effect. An Aviator badge run down the beautifully sculpted sides, as if we needed to spell out luxury. Subtle design cues and posh materials line the inside of the Aviator, creating a calm and welcoming environment.
While the engine options haven’t been finalized on all of the Aviator trim levels, the Aviator Grand Touring will feature a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 EcoBoost with a battery-powered electric motor capable of granting instant torque. This means you’ll take flight with a powertrain capable of providing over 450 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque in the first vehicle out of Lincoln’s lineup to feature battery-powered hybrid technology. You’ll also be able to utilize a Pure EV or Preserve EV mode, in addition to the five standard Lincoln Drive Modes, for either all-electric performance or a more energy and fuel-efficient drive.
Based on a new rear-wheel-drive platform, all of your passengers will have plenty of legroom thanks to this design cue that frees up additional space in the second and PowerFold third row. 6 or 7 passenger options are available as well as an expected all-wheel drive. The Aviator is expected to be loaded with technology, allowing drivers to use their smartphones as a key. Just download the Lincoln Way app, and you’ll be able to program your phone to act as a key for your Aviator (with a plan B in the event your phone dies). Other advanced driving features, like a digitally-projected Heads-Up Display, make driving a breeze; while the available Lincoln Co-Pilot360 package includes features such as automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, and rear brake assist to keep you safe. Lincoln Connect provides an embedded modem giving you access to a 24-7 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, while a Revel Audio Ultima 3D audio system provides immersive 3D audio while driving; and, if we couldn’t be more detail-oriented, Lincoln’s designers have worked with the Detriot Symphony Orchestra on composing unique sound effects for owners to choose from for the Aviator’s door chime and other navigational alerts.
