Lincoln CPO vehicles each undergo a 172-point inspection process so that each vehicle meets the standards Lincoln expects of even its brand new vehicles. In order to receive certification, a used Lincoln vehicle needs to be five model years old or younger, meaning no Lincoln CPO vehicles are more than six model years old. 

Once they have been inspected and tested, Lincoln CPO vehicles differ slightly from other CPO vehicle certification processes by being categorized in two different tiers:

• - Signature Tier: Lincoln CPO vehicles in this category have fewer than 130,000 kilometres on their odometer

• - Select Tier: Lincoln CPO vehicles in this category have up to 160,000 kilometres on their odometer
